Ube (a.k.a. purple yam from the Philippines) is hugely popular in the Philippines and has been for thousands of years and has become somewhat trendy in the West the last few years.
This vegan ube ice cream is made with powdered ube giving it an earthy vanilla flavour, matching perfectly with our oat milk and coconut cream base.
Ube ice cream is widely eaten in the Philippines (and beyond!) for good reason - because it tastes really good!
