Best Ice cream in Glasgow

HOW ICE CREAM SHOULD TASTE

The Best Ice Cream Straight to Your Door

How it Works

You can have the best ice cream delivered straight to your door.

Here's how it works:

1. Orders open every week on Sunday at 9pm (until sold out) for delivery / pick up the following week.

2. Every fortnight we introduce a new selection of flavours. These will be announced 15-minutes before they go on sale on our website, mailing list, and Instagram.

3. To order just add the ice cream to your cart and select your preferred shipping/ local delivery/ pick up options. We offer local deliveries in Glasgow on Friday nights or Saturdays throughout the day. Alternatively, you can collect your order from our creamery at 74 Brand Street, G51 1DG on Thursdays between 5pm - 8pm or from BAM  (44 Nithsdale Road, G41 2AN) on either Saturday or Sunday between 11am - 6pm.

4. Live outside Glasgow but want ice cream straight to your door too? We are currently trialling shipping via DHL Next Day Delivery to most of the UK mainland. Read more here.

It's that easy!

And now, the not so small print:

- This is not a subscription service, so don't feel you need to order every week (although we would love it if you did).

- Pints cost £6.95.

- Local delivery costs £2.75 and collection is free. Next Day Delivery via DHL is £10 with a minimum order of 4 pints.

- Deliveries will take place on Friday night between 7pm - 10pm and Saturdays, where you will be advised of your delivery slot at a later time. Please note the Friday slot is on a first-come, first-served basis.

- Someone MUST be present to accept the ice cream order. Should you miss a delivery, your order will be available for collection at our creamery in Cessnock.  We are unable to leave the ice cream at your door and no refunds will be offered if not collected.

We deliver to the following postcodes: G1, G2, G3, G4, G5, G9, G11, G12, G13, G14, G15, G20, G21, G22, G23, G31, G32, G33, G34, G40, G41, G42, G43, G44, G45, G46, G51, G52, G53, G58, G61, G73, G76

And remember, if you live outside the local delivery zone but want to try our ice cream, you can pick up your ice cream order from our creamery on Thursday nights or have it shipped straight to your door with DHL.

THANK YOU!

about us

Why Ice Cream?

Hello, I'm Jennifer; your local friendly purveyor of ice cream. I've been making ice cream for a few years, mainly as a hobby (weird hobby, I know), and in the summer of 2020 I started selling tubs of ice cream to my friends and neighbours in the Southside of Glasgow. After selling out week after week, I made the leap in November and set up a small ice cream creamery in Cessnock.

So why ice cream? Well, firstly who doesn't love ice cream!? It's joyful, delicious, and truly a simple pleasure in this complicated world.

And secondly, I missed the premium ice cream that is available in my native home of Canada but not so much in Scotland: a custard base made 100% from scratch and crammed full of homemade add-ins.

I am passionate about making ice cream the way it was always intended: fresh, all natural, and made from scratch using the best ingredients.

Peacock's ice cream starts with fresh whole milk, cream, and free range egg yolks with flavours often inspired by my Canadian and Scottish roots.

Why "Peacock's"?

Peacock is the name of my Mother's family. They were (and are) enterprising, stubborn, kind, and generous. Be like a Peacock - though not like an actual peacock because they're quite territorial and kinda mean. Plus it makes a cool logo, don't you think?
