What is miso, you wonder? It's a staple of Japanese cuisine, comes in a paste, and is made from fermented soybeans. Now I know that sounds hideous but TRUST ME when I say it tastes amazing in ice cream along with a tart and sweet fruit. It's even delicious outside of ice cream and if you've ever been to a Japanese-style restaurant, chances are you've had miso soup.
Anyway, I love this ice cream. You probably will too.
